Xiaomi sold more than 35 million smartphones in so far this year

Few would have thought that within five years
Xiaomi achieved only become one of the largest
manufacturers of smartphones in the world, but
it has happened. Currently this company is the
third largest vendor in the industry, behind Apple
and Samsung. According to a new report, it
noted that Xiaomi already managed to sell more
than 35 million smartphones in so far this year.

While this began as just a rumor, Xiaomi and
confirmed to be true. In a press conference it
was announced that sales were 34.7 million
units, and since that was more than one week
ago is very likely that at this point and have
managed to overcome the 35 million that we
referred to. This is an extraordinary performance
for the company, and still has half of 2015 to
continue selling ahead. The manufacturer
estimates that annual sales will be about 70
million units, but could be even greater if we
consider the period of Christmas and New Year,
when more devices are sold.

Lei Jun, CEO and founder of Xiaomi, said that
the small decline suffered by the Chinese market
this year has not affected them actually
managed to sell 33% more units compared to the
first half of 2014. We must remember that China
is the main market Xiaomi, although the
company gradually is beginning its international
expansion and will soon be coming to Brazil and
the United States for example. Of course the US
market is very different from the Chinese and
still do not know if there will achieve the same
success.

Currently there is much more to say about it.
Xiaomi is on the right track and if it continues in
this way has a bright future. Apple and Samsung
can not rest on our laurels because this Chinese
company is an increasingly real threat.
